about

Greg Gerardi - Drums
Andy Kondrat - Bass/Vocals

Architect Sketch is an eight man band that consists of two people.

Formed in 2007, Architect Sketch play epic instrumentals that nail the late- ’80s post-punk sound. With just bass and drums (and some clever looping), this two-man outfit engineers songs that sound like a lost Dischord Records recording. Way too clean and cool for “noise rock” and “experimental” labels, the songs are dialed in with almost formal precision...
- San Diego CityBeat - "Extra Special Good - 2011"

Architect Sketch achieve a very interesting blend where the listener isn’t only paying attention to the music, but also the method through which the music is achieved, an experience that seems to have been lost decades ago. This is a fine, fine release.

I feel confident that bigger fans of indie would eat this band up.

Good stuff.

###

Architect Sketch is a San Diego band that features neither John Reis nor Rob Crow. Playing neither metal, nor country, nor bluegrass folk, they have not toured Australia nor Japan. You should not expect to see them performing at the Grammy Awards.
